InGaAs Geiger mode avalanche photodiodes
InGaAs avalanche photodiodes (APDs) are specialized devices for detecting and counting single photons in the short-wave infrared spectrum. This detector has been specifically optimized for single-photon detection performance at temperatures of 0°C and above, enabling it to meet the technical requirements for high-efficiency, low-dark-count single-photon detection in fields such as quantum-secure communication and low-light detection, while significantly reducing cooling requirements. It achieves single-photon detection for wavelengths ranging from 0.9 to 1.7 μm, meeting the needs for device miniaturization and operation under various environmental conditions.
